RATES
Square Inch Price
I charge 2.5 cents per square inch for all edge-to-edge designs.
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches.
60 x 80 = 4800 x .025 = $120.
My minimum quilting charge is $50. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $50 minimum.

Feeling a little bit extra? I love to do custom computerized quilting. Use the Book a Quilt button to tell me about your quilty aspirations, and we'll work together on a design and a quote. Custom work typically ranges from 4.5 to 8.5 cents per square inch.
Batting
I use and stock my favorite Quilters Dream batting in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend, 100% cotton, and wool. Samples are available for you to see how they quilt up and which you prefer.

Batting is a separate charge and is not included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the linear inch from queen rolls of batting, except in the case of special orders. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5" margin) and charge per inch.
Pricing available by request.

You are welcome to supply your own high-quality batting from your stash as well!
Thread
I stock both Glide and some Omni threads. I don't charge any extra fees for thread use, it's included in your square inch price.
My personal style attempts to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Photography
I'm not a professional photographer but I do my best to document your freshly quilted wonder! Upon completion of the quilting, I will take photos of your quilt in my well-lit studio and then text/email you those images to use however you would like. I'd just ask that you credit me for the photo and/or quilting if posting publicly. This extra service is included in your square inch price.
Shipping
Shipping your top and backing to me: I live in Phoenix, Arizona and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.

If you are local, you're welcome to drop off your quilt, or if our schedules jive, meet up somewhere in the middle for a handoff. I am located just outside of downtown Phoenix, close to I-10, I-17, and US-60.
Other Costs
As mentioned above, batting is not included in the square inch price. I'm required by the city, county and state of Arizona to collect a 8.6% sales tax on the batting portion of an invoice. Quilting services and any design/pantograph fees are not subject to sales tax. If you require shipping, you pay what I pay.
Payment
More quilty math. I hope the pricing above is straightforward and you're able to get a good estimate of what it will take to finish your quilt before it's in my hands. Once you've settled on your design choice and I have the quilt, I'll send you a final quote for your approval before quilting begins.
After the work is complete, I will invoice you. I really do appreciate timely payments as that enables me to mail/return your project(s) back to you right away. I accept - in order of preference/fees - cash, Zelle, Venmo, major credit cards, and PayPal.
